Lorna
Originally from Moorea, it is on Tahiti's sister island that Lorna had the chance to discover the world of Tourism.
Her professional career began in the hotel industry where she was able to work in various positions in public relations, reception, reservations, and accommodation management for over 10 years.
Lorna loves to share her culture with all travelers and to help them discover the hidden treasures of our islands.
Her travels in the islands have allowed her to explore hidden paradises off the beaten path, such as Raivavae, Rurutu, or Tubuai (Australs Archipelago).
It is this passion for our culture and the diversity of our destination's offer, that convinced her to join TAHITI EXCURSIONS, to continue to make discover all the richness of our beautiful French Polynesia.
Her favorite island : Moorea, her native island, and Rurutu to get away!
Her favorite excursion : A quad bike tour in Moorea for a fun adventure to discover the most beautiful viewpoints, pineapple fields and archaeological sites.
Raiarii
Raiarii was born in Tahiti to Polynesian parents.
From a very young age, he grew up with his family in harmony with the nature that surrounds him. He enjoys hiking in the lush valleys of Tahiti, sleeping under the stars on the beach and being lulled by the sound of the waves.
For several years he spent his school vacations on the Tuamotu atolls where he practiced water sports, fishing in all its forms, and also worked in a pearl farm.
At the end of his studies in France, he returned to Fenua (Tahiti). In love with his native islands and the Polynesian culture, he aspired to work in the tourism sector.
This is therefore quite naturally that he joined a travel agency in relation with foreign tour operators where he worked for a few years.
With this experience, he started organizing 4x4 excursions on the island of Tahiti, and then joined the TAHITI EXCURSIONS team to help all our visitors discover the many wonders and hidden treasures of our islands.
His favorite island: Nuku Hiva for the diversity of its landscapes between land and sea, gathered on one island, and especially for its strong and lively culture.
His favorite excursion: Hiking in the wilderness & all water sports.
Faraneti
Faraneti grew up in Punaauia on the island of Tahiti but his family is originally from the Raromatai (Huahine and Taha'a) by her mother and from Tahiti peninsula (Hitia'a) by his father.
A strong link to the land being at the heart of all the Polynesian families, Faraneti has always naturally shown a strong interest in the environment and its protection.
Whether it is the Polynesian seabed or its valleys and mountains, Faraneti will ensure you discover a luxuriant nature and a unique fauna. For him, water is a source of relaxation and land of reflection.
After several years of professional experience in a completely different sector of activity, he decided to refocus on the tourism industry, richer in human exchanges and sharing. It is also the agency values in terms of sustainable development and respect for the biodiversity that incited him to join the Tahiti Excursions team at the service of our international visitors.
His favorite island: The peaceful Mataiva and its primitive forest.
His favorite excursion: A boat trip in Moorea lagoon where you can swim with the rays and enjoy a ma'a tahiti (traditional Polynesian dish) on a motu (islet)
