Tikehau is considered the most fish-rich atoll in the Tuamotu Islands. Millions of fish inhabit this transparent and pristine universe. Their numbers are so high that Jacques Cousteau’s scientific team described Tikehau as “the most fish-abundant atoll in the Tuamotu.” The unique pass of the island serves as a gathering place for pelagic species, promising significant encounters.

Private 2-tank dives
To make the most of your morning half-day adventure, we embark on two consecutive dives. The journey to Tikehau’s unique pass requires about 30 minutes of navigation, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way.
Tikehau offers a variety of dive sites, including Tuheiava, Teonai, Poito, Aramu Ramu, the former pearl farm, and Shark Hole (N2 certification required). Trust the instructor and nature to select the best sites for you to fully experience the stunning underwater beauty of this atoll.
You’ll have the chance to observe impressive schools of fish such as jacks, snappers, trevallies, and barracudas, as well as reef whitetip sharks, moray eels, and triggerfish. Occasionally, you’ll encounter surprises like great hammerhead sharks or tiger sharks.
Between dives, a snack accompanied by hot tea and water will be served onboard, offering a friendly moment to share experiences with your fellow divers.

Private “Sunset” dive
We offer you a unique late-afternoon dive in the Tuheiava Pass, precisely when marine life becomes more active, as both small and large fish begin their hunt for prey.
This dive beautifully complements the morning’s observations, giving you the perfect opportunity to admire the change in atmosphere as the day transitions into dusk.
By choosing this option, you’ll increase your chances of encountering reef sharks, whitetip sharks, hammerhead sharks, and possibly even a tiger shark.
As the dive concludes, the soft rays of the setting sun will pierce the surface, making the ascent truly magical. Once back onboard, the enchantment continues, accompanied by a refreshing drink to end the experience.

Private Snorkeling tour
An excellent half-day guided snorkeling adventure awaits you! After suiting up with a shorty wetsuit, mask, fins, and snorkel in hand, it’s time to embark on the snorkeling excursion.
1st stop: The Old Pearl Farm, a cleaning station highly favored by black-capped ladies. Led by your guide’s keen instincts, you’ll be on the lookout for majestic Manta Rays.
2nd stop: The famous Coral Garden, a coral dune dotted with Arcopora, studied by the Coral Garden organization in Moorea. This stunning site offers the chance to observe a variety of colorful and curious fish. After this stop, a refreshing break awaits on board, where local donuts, coconuts, fruit juice, or water will be generously served.
3rd stop: You’ll head to the outer edges of the pass for some Dolphin Research! Scan the horizon for spinner dolphins, which love to follow the boat. Once spotted, your guide will slow down, allowing you to fully enjoy the moment.
4th stop: The Tuheiava Pass, famously considered by Commander Cousteau as the most fish-filled pass in the world. You’ll have the chance to see for yourself! Entering the water on one of the pass’s outer edges, your guide will lead you to large schools of jackfish and other species. If conditions allow, you’ll be carried by the incoming current, effortlessly observing the marine life. From the surface, you’ll enjoy the privilege of seeing the same species as divers, but with an even broader field of view!
