The tour begins with an explanation of the species visible in French Polynesia, their migration patterns, and safety guidelines. Each year, several marine mammals migrate to the Pacific Ocean, particularly to French Polynesia, which is one of the few destinations in the world where you can observe them in their natural habitat. To protect these cetaceans, the government has established approach rules, requiring a distance of 100 meters between the boat and the animals, which necessitates swimming offshore.
After observing the whales, return to the lagoon and conclude the tour with a stop to see the rays and sharks. To finish this experience, nothing beats a snack of fresh fruit and drinks OR a lunch on a motu, where you can relax and enjoy snorkeling.
